Our trained professionals come to your location chosen at your appointment set-up to collect all DNA samples. Samples are sent to our CLIA certified lab for processing. We ensure convenience and absolute privacy.

What is the accuracy of DNA testing?

Our DNA testing is highly accurate with a 99.9% accuracy rate for paternity, with similarly high accuracy on all other DNA testing. Our partnered labs are CLIA certified.

Will DNA test results be given over the phone?

No. ALL DNA test results will be sent via signed certified mail to authorized individuals.

How long does it take to get the DNA results?

DNA test results are typically available within 3-7 business days, depending on DNA test type.

Do I need a doctor's referral/order for a DNA test?

No. No referral or order is needed from a physician.

What should I expect during the sample collection process?

Our trained professionals will greet you warmly, explain the DNA testing process, answer any questions you may have, verify identity, go over all consent forms and obtain signatures, then perform a simple cheek swab to be sent off to our CLIA certified lab.

Are there any requirements prior to the DNA test?

Yes, we recommend no eating, drinking, smoking, or brushing teeth one or more hours prior to having your cheek swabbed for your DNA test. If a baby is being tested and is breastfed, we recommend no breastfeeding at least two hours prior to DNA cheek swab.

Can the father be tested if he is a minor?

Permission from the father's legal guardian MUST be obtained in order for minor father to be tested. Father's legal guardian MUST be present at the appointment to provide consent for DNA testing and MUST remain during the entire appointment.

Can I have a DNA test done without the father?

All persons MUST directly sign consent to have their DNA tested. We do NOT accept items with potential DNA in place of an actual person.

Can I order a DNA test for someone else?

Yes, you may order and pay for DNA testing on someone else as long as that person provides SIGNED consent at the appointment and is aware of the DNA collection process.

How long does it take to get Pet DNA results?

DNA test results on pets take approximately 4 to 6 weeks for results to be returned.
